it's not that i don't have thoughts and opinions about politics at the moment. no not that. but i do feel like we have a damn smart president and i am willing to give him wide berth to do what he needs to do and sometimes not commenting is just fine, even if there are things i don't agree with. also, my life is good and full and there are other types of writing and musing i want to do. but this does not feel like the right forum for that now, so i will be writing elsewhere. i love the warm weather, even after living in seattle for 25 years, there is still something primal about hot hot weather, even a lot hotter than we've had here recently, but when it is over 90 you cannot really say that you like it, that you love the sweat soaking your clothes, no not in seattle, cannot really say that, just think it and bask, as i did as a child in south africa.

born in south africa (hence the strangely spelled french name), moved to new mexico as a student/ conscientious objector on my 21st birthday (1982), moved to seattle for M.Arch studies in 1985, ended up becoming a structural engineer by accident, joined the seattle design commission in 2002, founded own business in 2007
